I'm Going to Germany!


I’m headed to Germany!! The Lord has been tugging my heart more than ever to share his good news with the world, and this August, I get to do just that alongside a group from New Life Church. We are journeying to Konstanz, Germany on August 15-26 to work directly with refugees who have relocated to Europe from countries facing war and poverty. We are partnering with the Brunoni family as they serve refugees, the persecuted church, and the German people through their Cafe Hope ministry. 

I am beyond excited to be a part of this move of God in Germany. My heart is that “those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand” (Romans 15:21). As our small team partners with the Lord in preparing for this trip, I would love for my friends and family to join in prayer with us. If you feel any nudge at all to invest in this trip, please read the following prayer requests, financial needs, and some fun things I have planned to raise the funds. 

Prayer requests:
For our team to speak the Word with boldness. For our spiritual preparation, development, and unity as a team.
For our team to be guided by the Holy Spirit as we remain flexible and discerning.
For God to meet our financial obligations. 
For the strength, health, and safety for our team as we travel and serve abroad. 
For blinded eyes to be opened, lost souls to be found, and hard hearts to be softened to the movement of the Holy Spirit. 

Financial Needs:
I need to raise $2,500 by August 2nd, with payments beginning in mid-May. Every single dollar is appreciated more than you know!! Stay Updated:
BLOG. I will be writing on this blog each month as we approach August so you guys can stay updated on trip details and how the Lord is preparing my heart.
PRAYER NIGHT. I am going to host a prayer night leading up to this trip where you can hear more about my heart for missions, info about this trip, and get a chance to partner with me in this journey. More info about this to follow! 
FUN RUN. I will be running ONE mile for every ONE hundred dollars raised. This means that by the end of this, I will be running 25 miles! Since I’m not in shape enough for an almost-marathon, I will be doing it in increments as the money comes in. I am beyond blessed by each and every one of you who are interested in this wild and crazy journey the Lord has me on. Every day is exciting when it is spent with Jesus!

I'm Fully Funded (YAY) but the Trip is Postponed

I'm just jumping in here to give some quick and important updates on my upcoming mission trip to Germany. I'm headed to Konstanz to serve with a local refugee outreach ministry, and if you'd like more information, previous posts have more details. Because I have the most lovely and generous friends and family, I am extremely excited to announce that I am fully funded for my trip! I'm grateful for everyone who has given, both through prayer & through financial support, allowing me to be funded well before the deadline. Our team has continued to get together (while social distancing, of course), to pray and study together.
